The Allis Connection Scholarship

The 2026 The Allis Connection(TAC) scholarships will be awarded in the Spring of 2026. Scholarship awards, each in the amount of $750.00, will be granted.

The Allis Connection Scholarship Program

Open to anyone who is enrolling in advanced education including college, tech school or university short course. This is a one time award.

Applicants must be or have a parent, guardian or grandparent that is a paid member of The Allis Connection at the time of application as well as time of award.

To enter, applicants must submit a minimum 500-word essay on a subject determined yearly by The Allis Connection Board of Directors.

Winners will be judged on originality and knowledge of Allis-Chalmers history relating to achievements Allis-Chalmers accomplished during the twentieth century.

Scholarships of $750 to be awarded to each deserving entry.

Winners of scholarships will be notified by mail and will be presented the $750 after successfully completing the first semester of higher education by submission of those grades. Effective in 2021 scholarships must be used within one calendar year of being granted.

In case there is a question about their submission, The Allis Connection may contact the author for clarification, so please note a preferred method of communication, ie. phone or e-mail. Please respond to correspondence from The Allis Connection.

Entries must be dated by March 15 so they can be judged and recipients can be notified by May 1. The application should include a short biography and photo. Sources must be listed. There must be a minimum of two sources not to include Wikipedia.

The subject of the 2026 scholarship essay will be: 

“What Allis-Chalmers innovations are still being used today”?

Applicants should provide any pictures they wish to use to illustrate their essay. Good Luck!
